A Warm Welcome to Nicole Miller, PA-C

Animo Sano Psychiatry team is growing. We’re excited to welcome our new PA-C, Nicole Miller! We had the pleasure to talk with Nicole about her life and experience and learn more about what motivated her to become a part of our team. Here’s Nicole’s inspiring story.

1. What inspired you to pursue a career in mental healthcare?

I have always been a person that friends and strangers alike have felt comfortable sharing their experiences with. Mental health seemed like the perfect career switch after working in the ER for several years. I’ve found a way to connect with people, help them reach their mental health goals and feel a sense of pride in my work. I’ve been in mental health for over 7 years and haven’t looked back

2. What brought you to Animo Sano Psychiatry?

I was drawn to the true sense of team, employee appreciation, dedication to patients, and an improved work/life balance. Everyone I have spoken to has truly made me feel welcome and excited to work with this amazing group!

4. Tell us something about you that would surprise us?

I have gone sky diving and bungee jumping. Sky diving was way more fun in my opinion! 🙂

5. What words of wisdom do you live by?

I try to live by the Golden Rule: Treat others how you would want to be treated.
I believe in fostering good vibes! I’ll match your friendly energy, and I hope you will do the same for me!

6. Share a recent “proud moment.”

I have worked with a young woman with severe refractory OCD for several years. After finally finding the perfect balance of medications and therapy, I am delighted to see her live happily, finish college, start new relationships and live the life she was meant to! I am so proud and encouraged by her progress!
