This meetup is designed for parents with ADHD who are raising children with ADHD and want a clearer, more grounded understanding of treatment options. Together, we’ll explore how medication and psychotherapy work, what each approach is meant to support, and why many families benefit from a balanced, multi-modal treatment plan that evolves as a child grows. The focus is not on pressure or judgment—but on helping parents feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions.

We’re joined by Dr. Karen Melendez, Clinical Advisor and supervising physician at Animo Sano’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. Dr. Melendez leads pediatric and adolescent services with a holistic, developmentally informed approach, emphasizing emotional resilience, collaboration with families, and long-term well-being.
