For adults with ADHD, understanding and managing emotions can sometimes be challenging. These experiences can also affect communication, relationships, and how we understand ourselves and others.
Join us on Tuesday, November 17, for our next Adults with ADHD Education Group meetup as we explore ADHD and Emotional Intelligence: Developing Self-awareness and Empathy.
We’re delighted to welcome our amazing PA, Stefanie Solomon, PA-C, CAQ-PSY, who will help us explore why emotions can feel so intense, how ADHD can influence our reactions and relationships, and how we can better recognise emotional triggers.
We’ll also discuss the difference between feeling empathy and expressing it in the moment, along with practical ways to pause before reacting, communicate more effectively, and repair relationships when things go wrong.
