Whitney Andrew

Whitney Andrew, PA-C, is currently accepting internal referrals for Animo Sano Psychiatry patients only. 

Whitney is a certified psychiatric physician assistant specializing in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, and depression, with a dedicated focus on women’s mental health. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Sciences from NC State University (2001) and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University (2015). In 2023, she earned her CAQ-PSYCH — a board certification in psychiatry reflecting her advanced expertise in psychiatric medication management.

Her passion for mental health care grew from her background in oncology, where she witnessed firsthand the profound connection between mental and physical well-being. That experience shaped her commitment to psychiatry and her belief that meaningful mental health support can change lives.

At Animo Sano Psychiatry, Whitney works collaboratively with each patient to improve symptoms and overall quality of life. She creates a welcoming, empathetic environment where patients feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. Her personal goal is to help every patient develop a deeper understanding of themselves and build the tools to make lasting, positive changes in their mental health.
