About Requita Lee
Dr. Requita Demery Lee serves as a supervising psychiatrist at Animo Sano Psychiatry, where she provides oversight and guidance to behavioral health providers to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Dr. Lee is a board-certified psychiatrist with a strong academic foundation in biological sciences and medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University in 2011, followed by a Master of Science in Physiology from North Carolina State University in 2013. She returned to East Carolina University to complete her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2017 and subsequently completed her residency in Psychiatry at Vidant Medical Center in 2021.
Dr. Lee brings her expertise to Animo Sano Psychiatry, leveraging her experience from working within a network of mental health clinics where she provided comprehensive psychiatric care for diverse mental health conditions. She is passionate about creating personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of her patients, ensuring holistic and compassionate care.
