At Animo Sano Psychiatry, we believe that great mental health care begins with connection. Connection between providers. Connection between teams. And most importantly, connection between primary care and psychiatry, so that every patient can access the support they deserve when they need it most.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that we will be attending this year’s North Carolina Association of Family Physicians (NCAFP) Winter Family Physicians Weekend, happening December 4-7, 2025, in Asheville, NC.
Our Commitment to Integrated Care
Our participation in this conference reflects our ongoing commitment to building stronger bridges between psychiatry and family medicine. Our mission has always been to make high-quality, accessible psychiatric care available to every patient, no matter where they live or what barriers stand in their way. We know family physicians play a vital role in that journey, and events like the NCAFP conference give us the chance to listen, learn, and build stronger bridges for collaborative care across the state.
How We Partner with Primary Care
We offer integrated, patient-centered solutions like our Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and comprehensive telepsychiatry services. Through CoCM and our network of compassionate providers, we partner with primary care teams to bring mental health care directly into family medicine practices. This shared approach leads to better outcomes, smoother coordination, and care that feels human, not clinical.
Where You Can Find Us
Stop by Booth #17 at the NCAFP Family Physicians weekend to meet our team! Representing Animo Sano Psychiatry this year are Michele Browne and Bridget Jones from our Business Development and Outreach team, and Jamilah Broderick, PA-C, from our medical team. They will be there to connect directly with North Carolina’s primary care and family medicine community.
We look forward to meaningful conversations about how we can continue supporting family physicians and their patients through accessible, high-quality mental health care across the state. We’ll also have fun games and giveaways for anyone who stops by!
