Wonderful experience so far. PA Creekmore made me feel very comfortable from the start. She was very kind and friendly. She did a great job of explaining my treatment options to me. I dislike when providers talk to me in a condescending manner, but PA Creekmore treated me with respect and helped me feel empowered to make my own health care decisions. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Hi, I’m Mina and my great passion is caring for patients with ADHD. As a psychiatrist and researcher, I know the dramatic impact ADHD treatment can have on patients’ lives. My experience in managing the condition stems from my research while at Emory University and my work at Duke University’s Department of Psychiatry where I ran an ADHD-focused outpatient practice.I have since founded Animo Sano Psychiatry to provide the best-in-class behavioral healthcare to our patients. Our provider team understands that patients come to us seeking treatment in order to better pursue their goals and passions. We focus on each patient as an individual, and dedicate the time needed during our patient visits to hear and understand your whole story, which is key to helping all our patients develop an Animo Sano (Healthy Mind). We would love for our patients to experience the benefits of this approach. Animo Sano providers are trained and equipped to help patients address a range of behavioral health conditions, such as Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Sleep Disorders; We also operate a Specialty ADHD Clinic within the practice.

“Seeing patient improvement throughout treatment” is what Maddison describes as her “motivator.” Maddison also describes her family and friends as a source of motivation to “be the best version of myself.” “One of the quotes I live by,” said Maddison, is “it is well.” “To me, accepting what I cannot change during the day and making the best out of a situation allows me to keep a positive outlook throughout my day.”

Maddison achieved both her Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercer University in Georgia and has been practicing in various mental health outpatient settings since 2021.

2

Kelly is passionate about helping clients achieve their therapy goals. She achieved her Master’s in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) since 2013, in various outpatient and residential settings.

Kelly considers her therapeutic approach as “eclectic” and draws upon multiple theoretical orientations and techniques, including behavioral and person-centered therapy. Kelly’s therapeutic approach can help patients in dealing with anxiety, depression, eating & personality disorders, trauma, and many other issues.

Kelly’s relatable and “non-judgmental” approach includes developing a trusting clinical alliance early on in the treatment process with her clients.

Pamela has always had a love for medicine and felt privileged to help others. “I’m aware that our work to help patients improve their mental health, helps not only the individual, but also impacts their family members and all spheres of their lives.” said Pamela. “Being able to provide “Individualized, high-quality care was a big motivator for my interest in joining the Animo Sano Team”.”

Adam

Adam is glad and feels blessed to have chosen a career which allows him to contribute to the well-being of others. For Adam, being a mental health provider transcends making a living. It means helping clients improve their mental health by showing empathy and respect, educating them about their symptoms and diagnoses, and working collaboratively with them in choosing best treatment options. Adam understands that, without qualified and empathetic professionals, access to quality mental health care will continue to be a challenge.

Before becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Adam cared for patients as a registered nurse (RN) in different settings, including mental health. He earned his bachelor degree in nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain University and master degree (MSN) from Walden university. He enjoys learning new things, spending time with his family, and traveling.
