Part Time Outreach Specialist – Charlotte, NC

Animo Sano Psychiatry is a behavioral health clinic practicing in North Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, and Tennessee. We are seeking a talented and motivated outreach specialist to help expand our patient base by building awareness of our behavioral health services in the Charlotte and Fayetteville communities. This role will execute strategies to promote our mental health services, forge community partnerships, and increase patient referrals and intake. This position requires attending in person meetings and events in the Charlotte region. Very occasional travel to Fayetteville may be necessary. All other work for the position can be done remotely. Will consider a candidate in another North Carolina location if they are highly qualified.

  • Implement outreach plans to grow patient volume in the Charlotte and Fayetteville regions
  • Build relationships with referral partners and community organizations via phone calls, 1:1 meetings, professional networking events, community events, and conferences
  • Coordinate and attend conferences and events, including pre event logistics and post event follow up
  • Track patient referral sources and analyze growth opportunities and trends
  • Proactively share with marketing and practice development team local nuances that may inform state wide marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote new service offerings based on community needs
  • Prepare reports on outreach activities and ROI
  • Occasional local marketing support as needed

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or health care administration
  • 2+ years experience in marketing, business development, or health care business role
  • Self motivated and professional maturity to work independently, and self aware to know when to ask for guidance or help
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to connect the dots on how various areas of the business influence outreach efforts
  • Ability to confidently and professionally schedule and conduct 1:1 web/video meetings and engage with new people at networking events and professional gatherings
  • Passion for improving mental health access and helping others
  • Proficiency using platforms such as CRM, design, work collaboration, analytics tools.  Experience specifically with (or a strong willingness to learn) HubSpot, Canva, Google Suite, and/or Smartsheet is a plus.

  • Charlotte, NC area. This position requires attending in person meetings and events in the Charlotte region. Very occasional travel to Fayetteville may be necessary. All other work for the position can be done remotely. Will consider a candidate in another North Carolina area if they are highly qualified.
