Dealing With Headache

Although our focus is on ADHD care, we also treat patients with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, OCD, and sleep disorders as those conditions usually come in combination with ADHD.

Meredith Rappaport, PA-C, CAQ-Psy, LCSW

Meredith Rappaport

Meredith Rappaport PA-C, LCSW received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from The University of New England and physician assistant certification from the NCCPA in 2021, and has worked in general psychiatry and neuropsychiatry ever since. Additionally, she has over a decade of experience in the field of mental health as a psychotherapist and social worker. Meredith received a master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville in 2008, after which she gained experience in hospice care, criminal justice, severe/persistent mental illness, homelessness, community mental health, geriatrics, and eventually in her own private practice as a psychotherapist treating a variety of mental health conditions. Meredith decided to return for a second master’s degree in 2019 that has enabled her to continue in mental health as a medical practitioner and prescriber. She enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, home-improvement projects, travel, down-time with family and friends, and her canine companions.

Brock Carter

Brock Carter, MMS, PA-C earned his Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee in 2017 following his completion of their didactic program and clinical rotations at various healthcare institutions throughout Central Florida and Houston, Texas. He began his career in Emergency and Behavioral Medicine in Central Florida in 2017, and continued to practice in Internal Medicine with Administrative roles at various hospitals and practices in Knoxville, Tennessee from 2018-2023. Prior to his clinical education, Brock was a Research Associate for Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Biosciences Division where he contributed to a Climate and Biofuels Research initiative after obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from The University of Tennessee in 2012. His interest in science and dedication to helping others through practicing medicine have led him to a promising future with Animo Sano Psychiatry, which he joined in October of 2023 as an Associate PA, TN Branch Recruitment Lead, and TN Office Lead. In his free time, he enjoys playing live music, spending time with his family and friends, exploring nature, and taking road trips.

Erin Brewer Ross

Erin Brewer Ross

Erin Brewer Ross received her Bachelor’s of Science from Milligan University. Following graduation, Erin completed a year of service with community health centers in South America. She continued her passion for community wellness by returning home to work at a local community health center as a Spanish interpreter. Erin then completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University and is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Several years of work in primary care allowed Erin to gain experience in a wide range of health concerns, both physical and mental in nature. Erin became passionate about the connection between unaddressed mental health issues and somatic complaints after recognizing how often emotional and psychological distress manifests in the body as chronic pain, fatigue, or other physical symptoms. After living and working in the Appalachian region for many years, she is passionate about the increased access that virtual mental health care can provide to so many in need in this area. She specializes in treatment of ADHD, addiction, anxiety, and depression. A welcoming, non-judgmental, and empathetic space is what she will strive to cultivate during her patient encounters.

As a mental health provider, my focus is on helping you manage and treat conditions such as anxiety and depression through a combination of evidence-based therapies and medication. I am dedicated to creating a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where we can work together to develop an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan that empowers you to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Jeremy Landvater

Jeremy Landvater

Dr. Jeremy Landvater received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and completed his psychiatry residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. As a 20 year Veteran serving in both the Navy and Marine Corps, Jeremy has a passion for providing mental health care to our Military, Veterans, First Responders, Healthcare Providers, Clergy, and their families. He also specializes in providing psychiatric care to patients with complex physical, neurological, and sleep conditions. By leveraging strengths, focusing on the whole person, and using both time tested and state of the art treatments, Jeremy creates a care plan that is tailored to the needs of each patient.

When not in clinic, Jeremy provides expert supervision to a numerous of other healthcare professionals, as well as serving on multiple national and state level committees for the advancement of Psychiatry, Sleep Medicine, Healthcare Administration, and patient equity. When away from those duties Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, making homemade bacon and sausage, and volunteering as a local leader for Scouting America.

In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Landvater received his MBA from East Carolina University, and his BS in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
