A Warm Welcome to Edna Gumban, Administrative Assistant

Edna Gumban - Our new Administrative Assistant at Animo Sano

Animo Sano Psychiatry team is growing. We’re excited to welcome our new Administrative Assistant, Edna Gumban! We had the pleasure to talk with Edna about her life and experience and learn more about what motivated her to become a part of our team. Here’s Edna’s inspiring story.

1. What motivates you?

My supportive family is the source of my motivation. They are always there to believe in and uplift me as I pursue my goals. Their encouragement makes me strong to move forward.

2. What words of wisdom do you live by?

Before, I am most afraid of unknown. Now, I learned to live with this life changing verse: 1 Peter 5:7 “Surrender all your worries to him, because he cares for you.” This teaches me to release anxieties, allowing faith to replace fear. I learned to enjoy life and live peacefully amids life uncertainties.

3. Share any volunteer or charity efforts you’re involved in.

Engaging in the charitable work of preparing meals to children during my birthday and gift giving on Christmas brings true happiness to my heart. Witnessing the smiles on the faces of children urges me to be more kinder and thoughtful. This is my heartfelt commitment since I started with the practice. ASP is a blessing to me, and my desire is to pay that forward by being a blessing to others.
