Animo Sano Psychiatry team is growing. We’re excited to welcome our new MMS, PA-C, Brock Carter! We had the pleasure to talk with Brock about his life and experience and learn more about what motivated him to become a part of our team. Here’s Brock’s inspiring story.
1. What motivates you?
The idea of making my family and friends proud of me and personal satisfaction through achievement have always been motivational forces in accomplishing my personal goals, but the idea of making an impact in other people’s lives is what motivates me to continue learning to help those in need.
2. Tell us something about you that would surprise us?
As a hobby, my friends and I have written, recorded, produced, and published 5 albums through major streaming services over the past 10 years.
3. What words of wisdom do you live by?
If I had to choose one example, then it would have to be The Golden Rule of treating others with the same respect as one would expect for themselves.
4. Share a recent “proud moment.”
My brother recently made me very proud by sacrificing his previous career in pursuit of his dream of being an educator. It was a gigantic leap of faith, and seeing his happiness after succeeding was inspirational and monumental.
